Τhe mission of the L.E.P.L. is:
a) the management, administration and maintenance of the Mosque of Athens,
b) the support and contribution to the coverage of the religious needs and obligations of Muslims residing in Attica,
c) the accurate information of the State and the public on issues related to Islamic religion and orthopraxy.
Any other specific objective related to the mission of the previous subparagraph may be assigned by decision of the Minister of Education and Religious Affairs. (par. 1 of Article 350 of Law 4957/2022 Official Government Gazette of the Hellenic Republic A' 141)
